Some species grow to heights of 10 or 12 feet with squat, compact, densely packed flowers while other species grow to only about 2 feet but produce leaves that are almost 8 inches long and flowers that are as much as 3 inches wide.  While the flowers don't produce an aroma, they do produce a most dramatic effect sitting atop of the tall spiraling stems and work wonderfully in floral bouquets.
