Philodendron Plants
An evergreen plant of mostly
large vines or shrubs the philodendron produce large exotic often
immense leaves when allowed to grow to full size. Most are partial
to shade and love water. Some are fantastic climbers forming thick
ropelike stems as they ascend the trees. Others appear to be stem
less or self heading and produce rigid forming aerial roots that
act as trunks enabling the plant to grow in girth. All species
produce a flower, some turning to fruit, quite large
and quite beautiful, showing colors of red, yellow and purple
along with the basic green and white. Due to their intolerance of
cold temperatures philodendron should be left to impress you on
the patio, terrace or indoors. |
